Swedish Stockings was founded by Linn Frisinger and Nadja Forsberg with a vision to create the world's first environmentally sustainable range of hosiery.
Today that vision is a reality and we are proud to be able to bring this pioneering label to the shores of Australia!

The range of premium hosiery products are expertly knitted in Italy using 3D technology for optimal fit and texture. Our designs feature flat seams, toe reinforcements and a broader waist band for a more comfortable fit.

Sustainability
Most modern pantyhose are created using environmentally harmful petroleum-based processes which lead to damaging carbon emissions - not to mention how billions of pairs are thrown away each year as they simply do not last.

Swedish Stockings has set out to revolutionise the hosiery industry by developing a sustainable manufacturing process utilising post-production and post-consumer nylon waste, renewable energies and waste reduction strategies to the point where their factories are Zero Waste.
​
Swedish Stockings contain between 76% and 97% recycled material, with the remaining material being elastene (for stretch) which is currently being investigated by the company in terms of more sustainable alternatives. In addition, vegan dyes are used throughout the process and their entire supply chain has received OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification and complies with the EU REACH standard in minimising the use of harmful chemicals.
Ethics

Factories that work with Swedish Stockings are carefully selected according to their commitment to both environmental issues and ethical treatment of people. They are also involved in social initiatives in the local communities, reaching out to those disadvantaged by handicap and poverty.

Swedish Stockings and their supply chain partners have been awarded OHSAS 18001 certification for ethical practices in the workplace.
